(TSX:BQE), a leader in the treatment of metal and sulphate contaminated water, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. David Kratochvil to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing corporate operations and development projects. Brad Marchant continues to serve in the role of Chief Executive Officer, focusing on corporate strategy and new business development.

David has extensive operational experience and has been instrumental in building our plants and developing our technology. Dr. Kratochvil previously served as BioteQ’s Vice President of Projects. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, specializing in biotechnology and water treatment. A Canadian citizen originally from the Czech Republic, Dr. Kratochvil is fluent in English and Czech, with a good command of Russian and French.
